Loving the Downhills

I am so glad that last night we camped where we did, because not even a mile into today’s trip we faced a mini “Stuart”. We spent two hours barely pedaling and pushing up continuos, steep hills. We finally reached the downhills and, well, here are the happy pictures!

By the way, they’re also amazed that a 12-year-old girl is writing those very articulate posts. 🙂

I have been sharing your blog entries with my friends from work, who by now ask me how you’re progressing each time I see them. When I was there on Tuesday, I was telling them about your long day of riding uphill and making very little mileage. Ilona, the math instructor, said that the best part was that going up meant that you would have to go down. So today, I showed them your downhill photos. Everyone is amazed at your courage and stamina and wishes you the very best. You have a big group rooting for you!

Great action shots! Looks like the pizza made you the happiest. You have that grateful, dreamy look. When you post these food pictures, for some reason, I find myself craving the same food. Please don’t eat anything that I can’t get here, wait, you have already done that. The Bojangles. Darn.
