Yabadaba did it!

Destination in sight! The state capital.

The ending mileage, so what if we cheated by a quarter mile?

Getting the news out!

Whole Foods- Yum!

South Congress

Lance Armstrong’s bike shop.

The last stop for a soda

That is it then, the 2222 mile North Carolina to Austin Texas trip is now complete. Now I have to change gears and become the normal seventh grade student and get focused on schoolwork, sports and music again. Wow. Thank you everyone for the support and the great words of encouragement. The comments were great and really helped to keep us going. Thanks you everyone!

I am so proud of you both, Bianca and Pavel! What a wonderful trip you’ve had, and so generous of you to bring us all along by way of your blog, Bianca. Well done! Fantastic! Do take care, and know good thoughts remain with you both.

I can still hardly believe the magnitude of this trip. When Vicki first told me of the blog and I saw the pictures I thought you must be pulling off some kind of internet hoax. I thought someone must have had a van and would let you off for the pictures. Somewhere down the line I became a believer (and a worrier), I am so IMPRESSED. Stay in touch.

So proud of you two. My class cheered when I showed them this morning! Now Pavel, hurry up and get home! BTW, you would be proud of me, I put the bike chain on! Congratulations to you and Bianca! She looks so old in these pictures. Tell her to stop growing!

Bianca, you have accomplished many amazing feats on this 2,222-mile journey, and I’m sure you realize that your life will never be the same because of it. I believe very strongly that you ought to keep up your blog as you continue the longer and more winding journey of your interior life. The “way-word way,” after all, is a state of mind, not a trip on a bicycle. I, for one, would be eager to read of more milestones you reach along that path. I love you, and I can’t wait to find out where you go!

So happy to see you here and have you home. You have accomplished so much and will continue to do so, I am sure. This blog was a great idea and helped those who missed you feel connected. Not to mention the people you have met along the way. Everyone got to know you a little better this way.

I look forward to the many stories that will emerge after you have had your rest.
By the way, your blog helped keep many people going as well. Thank you so much.
